Clermont Solar Farm

Clermont Solar Farm

Located in Clermont, 106km north of Emerald, Queensland, the 89MWp DC Clermont Solar Farm is the third solar plant in Gentari Solar Australia’s portfolio based in QLD. It created just under 600 jobs in various capacities during construction and continues to employ those within the local community for the operations and maintenance of the asset.

It provides the equivalent of 26,000 homes with clean energy whilst preventing the emissions of 148,955 tonnes of CO2 per annum. The solar farm utilises sheep grazing for vegetation management with excellent results, with over 400 sheep currently on site.

The site is owned Gentari Solar Australia.
