Barnawartha Solar + Energy Storage

Located in north-east Victoria, approximately 300km from Melbourne in the Indigo Shire and Wodonga City Council local government areas, the proposed Barnawartha Solar and Energy Storage System has capacity for 88MWp utility scale solar, with a 64MW/2hr Battery Storage (BESS). The two projects combined are forecast to provide the equivalent of ~27,000 homes with clean energy whilst preventing the emissions of ~159,071 tonnes of CO2 per annum.
