As such, we are seeking an Asset Manager who will be responsible for optimizing the performance, revenue and value across the asset lifecycle while maintaining compliance with the contracts and keeping effective communication with the stakeholders. Working within the asset management team, your experience will aid in managing the day-to-day activities and providing a direction towards what asset management will be in Gentari.

Key Responsibilities

  • Asset Performance (Revenue & Generation)
    • Monitoring the financial and technical asset performance.
    • Identification and rectification of deviations from the applicable OKRs on generation and revenue
    • Operating the assets in accordance with the applicable trading strategy.
    • Maintain the reporting calendar and provide timely internal and external reports.
    • Prepare and submit the annual operating plans to the lenders.
    • Submission of regulatory reports – NGER, CIRMP, Electricity Generation Return.
  • Contract Management
    • Oversight and contract compliance of the O&M contractor.
    • Own and maintain compliance with the asset management agreement.
    • Maintain compliance with the PPAs, NSP connection agreements.
    • Maintain the required insurances under the various contracts.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Maintain good relationship and effective communication with the stakeholders – NSP, AEMO, Lenders, corporate.
    • Manage GPS non-compliances with NSP and AEMO.
  • Budget and Forecasting
    • Prepare the budgets and forecasts of the operational assets with the assistance of the team.
    • Keep costs within the budget.
  • Regulatory
    • Maintaining compliance with the applicable legislation, environmental and development approvals and addressing non-compliances.
    • Maintain the compliance with SOCI Act.
  • Support
    • Provide feedback to the development and engineering teams on new projects and vendor selection.
    • Provide guidance on AEMO related activities to the development and engineering teams.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Strong knowledge about the technical and commercial aspects of asset management.
  • Experience in preparing, reviewing and managing operational budgets and forecasts.
  • Proficient in managing contracts and stakeholders (corporate and external).
  • Knowledge about the legislation and regulatory compliance applicable to renewable energy.
  • Full time working rights in Australia and valid Australian Driver’s license.
