Gentari appoints Head of Gentari Australia to strengthen strategic presence and operations in the country

SYDNEY, Australia, 28 July 2025 – Clean energy solutions provider Gentari has appointed Claire Elkin as its Head of Gentari Australia, effective 28 July 2025.  

Claire will be responsible for overseeing in-market operations, driving strategic growth, strengthening local partnerships, and aligning the company’s initiatives with national priorities. This newly established role enhances strategic alignment and operational cohesion across Gentari’s operations in Australia, as part of its commitment to delivering sustainable clean energy solutions.  

With 814 MW of installed and under construction renewable energy capacity across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria, Gentari is a leading owner and operator of utility-scale solar farms and battery energy storage system (BESS) investments in Australia.

Claire brings more than two decades of extensive leadership experience in the energy sector to Gentari Australia, spanning energy transition, infrastructure investment and commercial strategy with expertise in renewable energy, transmission, hydrogen and emerging energy technologies. She has served as an advisory panel member at the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) since 2024 and holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering with honours from RMIT University.
